The food, atmosphere, and staff truly captured the essence of a Cajun restaurant. During this summer break, he weighed his options and instead of returning to Grambling, Chef Chapman chose to remain in Shreveport and work with his family in its restaurant business. The resturant was widely recognized for its delicious soul food, most famous for its fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, stuffed shrimp, and peach pie. The best way to know if this restaurant is right for you is to visit and see for yourself. With a welcoming vibe, stunning lakeside views, and menu full of standout dishes, it\u2019s no wonder the restaurant has legions of devoted fans. ORLANDO \u201cCHEF\u00bb CHAPMANThe 2011 Gentlemen&#8217;s Cooking Classic Celebrity Chef and owner of Brother&#8217;s Seafood Restaurant, Orlando Chapman, has definitely owned the title \u201cCelebrity Chef\u00bb. \u201cBrother\u00bb Chapman later served as secretary of the corporation, was in charge of recipe development and always set the tone for the manner in which food was prepared for public consumption. He also gained insightful training at the historic Smith&#8217;s Cross Lake Inn Restaurant. \u201cBrother\u00bb Chapman later introduced his son, Orlando Chapman, to the art of cooking. He was the son of Arthur \u201cScrap\u00bb Chapman, who was an original founding partner with the late Pete Harris of the legendary restaurant Freeman &#038; Harris Cafe&#8217;. Known for our famous Stuffed Shrimp &#038; Original Tartar Sauce, Gumbeaux, \u00c9touf\u00e9e, Po-Boys, Burgers, Seafood, Soul Food, Peach &#038; Apple Cobblers and Much, Much, More!<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"toc-3\">Freeman &#038; Harris Cafe&#8217;!&#8230;Pete Harris Cafe&#8217;!&#8230;Brother&#8217;s Seafood!!!&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>Seriously I&#8217;m already planning to have an annual pillgramage to the Mecca of creole. Wonderful staff and family atmosphere. Outstanding food, staff, and service! Good food and good service. The same great tasting food!<\/p>\n<p>As one reviewer noted, \u201cThe wait time is on average on 1-2 hours on a Saturday afternoon\/dinner time.\u201d Others recommended arriving early or calling ahead to put your name on the list. Could one machine really handle three very different types of coffee and do them all well?
